Your dojinshi counts as a lot of art (and I'm so totally buying one!). I was wondering how you were printing them: are you binding them yourself or getting them done somewhere?

I managed to finish pretty much all my small art, now only the big ones remain. I need to pick up some air-dry pottery clay from Michael's on Friday (I was thinking of using it to make figurines - it's also way cheaper than the sculpey for the amount you get... but I'm not sure how hard it dries. Have you ever used anything like that?)

I think I'm going to have to do the Yugioh, they're all so funny (with awesome hair). I also heard on the forums that there's a group doing a Yugioh abridged group cosplay =D

I use air dry clay on most of my ponies...Um, for the most part I find that the air dry clay still has some bend in it when it dries, and that sometimes it doesn't take paint too well. However it could work well. I find 'Delight' is nice, but it's only white. I've used Crayola 'Model Magic Fusion' but it has quite a bit of bend in it when 'dry'.

Hahaha, my wrist and hand have been swelling and hurting for a while too. ;__;

I'm getting them printed + bound professionally, hopefully with perfect binding, but if not I don't mind saddle stitch.

Well I guess it's like giving the hands a workout (by the end they shall be able to crush steel! :evillaugh: )

Hmmm, that's good to know. I've been trying to remember the name of the clay I'd seen (and failing...). I think that it came in both terra-cotta and the "white" (which is more gray). They say that you can use it on a potter's wheel or just sculpt it.
Hopefully it won't bend too much, if it does I guess that means I'll just need to put on horribly large amounts of glaze...
